THE CONCEPT
Andrew makes songs based on your ideas.
And sometimes he just makes songs.
But anyway, suggest something?

NEW CHAPTER
It’s been a gradual transition that wasn’t always even apparent to me, but I can definitively say now that my work will be focused more on my YouTube channel than this website. (Though a redesign is on its way that will integrate the two a bit more anyway.)
Of course, all the songs here will stay up for your enjoyment – some might even be made into videos in the near future. :) I will also continue to do commissions.
Thank you all for your support and encouragement over the years. Things are getting bigger and better and I hope you’ll stay on this magic carpet ride with me forever!

TENINO
I feel that my hometown of Tenino, Washington, needs a theme song and I think you are the man to write it. The first problem is that “Tenino” is pronounced “Ten-Nine-Oh” and not “Ten-Neen-Oh” or “Ten-Nin-Oh.” The song should explain that. The phrase “don’t take any wooden nickels” originates from Tenino as the town’s Chamber of Commerce minted Wooden Nickels during the depression. Even though they weren’t anything outside of the town, they did become collectors items. Tenino still proudly proclaims itself as “Home of The Wooden Nickel.” The song should probably give some mention of the Wooden Nickel. We also live in a beautiful area of the Pacific Northwest. There are many rivers and streams, some with salmon. The hills are covered with trees and home to deer, elk, bears, wolves.
Popular “attractions” in Tenino are Wolf Haven (a home for injured or domesticated wolves), The Skookumchuck River, Dave’s Marketplace, Hedden’s Pharmacy, The Quarry Pool, and every year during the last weekend of July is “Oregon Trail Days”. We even have a parade for it.
Our high school mascot is the Beavers. I’m sure this is all enough info on the Greatest Little Town in Washington! There was once a folk song written about Tenino, but it sucks. The song should be rock/pop along the lines of Weezer, The Rentals, and Reggie and The Full Effect. Guitar, bass, drums, and maybe a little synthesizer to make it fun. Female harmonies/back ups would be a definite plus.
