Happy Halloween!
I’ve only got treats for you: two new ANDREW IS MUSIC albums - yay!
First, and free, is a collection of 14 lullabies I made this past year. They’ve already been tested on real babies!
Second is a glitchy laptop album which can be yours for a small donation to a local Toronto charity.
Check them out - hope you dig!

POLKA LOCA
This is a Paid Song! Learn more…
Let’s face it, the Hokey Pokey and the Chicken Dance are on their way out.
Try writing a new participation song to take their place. Bonus points are assigned as follows (one point per item):
- The participation instructions are understood and easy to remember by the time the song has fully played once.
- The average human (not superhuman) can respond to the prompts before subsequent prompts are issued.
- At least 40% of the responses are non-verbal, and active.
- Song has a danceable beat
- After the song is performed, no guests request, hum, nor hear the Macarena.
- After the song is performed, the song is re-requested for play later that night
- Any time that night after the song is performed, one or more guests consciously performs the song’s actions without the song playing
- No props are required besides other humans
- No prompts/responses plagiarize other popular participation songs
- Song contains at least 5 different prompts/responses
- Song does not nervously offend my grandparents
Genre: Largely up to you; my immediate reaction would be a polka.
I have approximately NO ideas for you. The only thing that comes to mind is making hand puppets, or whatever those are called, where you can make your hands talk. And then like talk to your neighbor (on the right, or on the left) with them or something.

HOW are there no comments on this? I am literally giggling at how cute and feel-good-y this is.
I died laughing at this song .. and I was just looking for ‘The touchtone genius’ .. did you really play the accordian for this?? Cuz that is smack awesome if you did!!!
DEAR GOD FREAKING AMAZING! Buddy, you should really get some full length songs out there, you’ve got some serious talent.

Ohhhh man. This is about the greatest participation song ever made.
I WILL PLAY THIS SONG AT MY SWEET 16 AND MAKE A VIDEO FOR YOU.

That…is…AWESOME!!!!!! XD
LoL me and my friend sang this in school, while doing all the moves (save for ‘whip it out’)
…^.^ we did super good. =]
poka doka! ^^
Dude, sweetness. This is so cool they should play it at every party. It’s as classic as the Cha-Cha slide only in Polka form, and I love Polka’s(Weird Al’s Polka Power)You are deemed an awesome-rific polka power to be reconded with!
omg is awesome
Wow. Just…wow. I loved it. And, well, it didn’t nervously offend /my/ grandparents any, but it did cause my mom’s eye to start twitching I think. -shakes head sadly- She’s just lost the magic of the easily amused and amusing. Ah well. Bravo! -turns it back on to do the dance to it again-
Lol, how were you supposed to dance to that third part?
“Touch your nose to your shoulder”? That’s not even physically possible! lol, I loved it though.
:)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that was amazing!!!!!!!!!!
I can’t help but wonder– do you mostly use midi files in your songs?
Or do you have two or three real instruments, and midi the rest?
Oh, and to Bradley, it’s fairly easy to touch your nose to your shoulder. Maybe you’re thinking of licking your elbow.
