AIR SITAR BARON
This is a Paid Song! Learn more…
I am attaching the new song that has been the background for my work these last few weeks. I love the silliness and randomness of it - and I LOVE the melody and instruments used in most Bollywood music. The song is called “I am the Emperor” and I would like you to do something in the tone of this song - especially the first two and a half minutes - since the tone goes many places, and so does the melody.
The song should be about a small boy named Baron who wants to climb the tallest tree in India and play the Air Sitar. The branches are full of thorns and the top of the tree is so high you can’t see it - but he is not scared, Brave Baron, takes his Air Sitar and climbs. A girl watching from the ground, observes him. She picks up a flower, a marigold, from the ground. Baron plays his air sitar on every branch he rests at - he sees the top of the tree and smiles as he climbs. As he gets closer to his dream, the girl on the ground blows on the flower - and it’s petals blow off with her breath. As the petals fall - so does he. And his fall takes forever, and so he plays the air sitar.

Everytime I pass by this song I’m so sad that no one comments this awesome song.
So here is my comment.
Reminds me of Banjo Kazooie.
Awesome.
HOLY FREAKING CRAP! This is epic! Props to Andrew for the awesome and props to the requester for his awesome idea that set the premise for this amazing piece of musical genius.
True that about Banjo-Kazooie, reverse escargot.
So epically awesome!
Yes, definately Kanjo Bazooie.
I think the song started great, but the ending was completely weak.
Fading out with that looping context– good.
Fading out with not one resample or redo of your voice? Not even going high on ’sitar’ and staying the flat you were at?
That’s pretty weak. You could’ve totally added some alternation to the ending.
Otherwise, great and an innovative approach to the proposed song.
OMG! now i have to learn how to play the air sitar!!!!
