THE ORIGINAL SONGS TO WEAR PANTS TO
A few years before starting this website, I put out a CD by the same name. Beyond the name, the website and the album don’t really have anything to do with each other, except that it’s all my music.
Anyway, I thought they were sold out, but I recently discovered 22 copies still shrink-wrapped and hiding in a box.

It’s got these songs on it, plus 11 more that I haven’t posted anywhere online:
MOSES
MARY POPPINS
SCATTERBABY
LIMBIC
WHITE
Want a copy? I’m asking $9, which includes shipping to anywhere in the world.
Blast from the past!

I like how mine is at the very bottom where it belongs, lol
Ha ha. Yours is sweet. They’re in order by title length.
Congratulations to all the other dudes.
Congrats to everyone that entered! ^_^
Meh, I was going to enter, but had quite a large issue that prevented me from doing so. I did comment on the news entry about the contest with my problem written in it a while ago, but unfortunately nobody came up with any responses. =(
I’ll check out all the entries I haven’t seen yet, anyway. It’s just a shame that I couldn’t at least of entered.
Oh. and Andrew, pleeeease check your comments in the future! I know that you’re busy and all, but if my comment had of been read and replied to, I may of found a solution to my issue.
Wait, the Sam Maurer videos were submitted a year ago, of course they have more views :(
yo people! This is Sam. I just wanted to say congrats to everyone that entered; I’m really glad that our video won the “most views” prize because honestly, all the other videos made me say “all right!” so much that I don’t think we stood a chance otherwise. All your yo-yos and creepy ketchup and snail’s-eye videos and stuff. Really awesome stuff.
also, yeah, the videos have been on YouTube since Mason and I recorded them about 9 months ago, but it only gave us about a 750-view head start. the other 3,000 came from ridiculous and shameless self-promotion last month. I think without the extra hits it would have been a toss-up with (the hilarious) Don’t Feel Bad cover.
I suppose I could be gracious…. or I could be petulant….
*whine* But I wanted to win! *whine*
*sigh* yeah… obviously I wanted to win… I’ll get over it. Congratulations to the winners. KAZOOKAZOO with the actual instruments and no kazoo? Insanity! or awesome. I forget which word I was looking for.
maybe we can convince Andrew to have another cover contest at some point? *cough cough*….
Dudes yeah, I’ve already decided we are having another cover contest in the fall. This was way awesome.
Sorry about the logistical hiccups - next time I’ll definitely be more on top of those kinds of things as the contest progresses. I’ve been plate-jugglingly busy in a way I never hope to be again.
I really loved all your entries; they were creative and fun and original and it’s humbling to me that you even bothered to step up and do a take on a song that I wrote. I hope you’ll still think about recording a cover next time!
You’re having another cover contest…?
>.> <.<
In that case, I am very pleased. Hopefully that’ll mean I can spend a lot of time on trying to figure out a solution. :D
Congrats to all the entrants, all your covers were awesome! And, of course, congrats to Andrew for causing such a competition to arise in the first place.
Another contest? That’s sweet because I got a brilliant idea for a cover right after this one ended. Maybe I can do this one in over one night, lol
andrew, yes, do another contest. i too was plate-juggingly busy and didn’t get to kick people’s faces in with my participation. dddaaaaaaaaaaammmm, son. do it!
Yessssss! This contest was such a blast to make songs for. The competition was good…I especially liked the live performances. Dang, those are cool.
