STEVIE
This is a Paid Song! Learn more…
Hi Andrew, I’d like you to make a song as a present for my girlfriend. I’m not sure exactly what instruments I’d like to be in the song, only that the song should put her in a good mood and be relatively easy for her to sing along to.
Her name is Stevie, and her favorite band is Sublime.
I’d like to include lines about some of our favorite memories and inside jokes.
-playing Super Smash Brothers on Nintendo64 (She plays as Kirby, I play as Captain Falcon, and she ALWAYS kicks my ass)
-we met at “Call-A-Ram”, a department of Colorado State University where we are basically part-time telemarketers and spend our shifts poking fun at our co-workers
-her major, compared to mine, involves a massive amount of schoolwork, and we always joke with each other about how much she has to study or how little I don’t
- we went to Home Depot for our first date
-we have pretty different tastes in music. We joke about how ridiculous some of my metal and hardcore music is. Maybe you could incorporate a “breakdown” in the song somewhere (it would be funny to her, and I know you’re a pro at mixing genres)
The chorus should be the catchiest part, and somewhat cheesy but still meaningful. Perhaps you could say how she means the world to me, how I can’t stand to be away from her, and how she’s the best thing that’ ever happened to me. It’s imperative that you include the phrase “I’d love you even if you had a Fupa.”

HIS WAY
This is a Paid Song! Learn more…
It’s our dads birthday, and because he loves karaoke, me and my sister thought it’d be a funny idea getting a song written for him.
His name ist Anthony, but everybody calls him Tony. He was born in Ireland, Dublin, as the eldest of 8 children. As a little boy he liked to play football with the real „greenhills boys“.
Growing older, he left home at the age of 20 with only a rucksack- his destination was australia, but because of the money he got stuck in frankfurt and he started working as a dishwasher and as a barman in a local irish pub.
Soon he was the owner of it-he still is very proud of it, because it was the first irish pub in germany.
Now he is father of 6 children. He loves singing karaoke in his irish pubs, especially robbie williams with angels and frank sinatra with my way are his favourite songs.
maybe „he did it his way“ as the last verse
It would be great if the background wound sound like robbies „angels“,

SHINE ON
This is a Paid Song! Learn more…
I am a student film director at Missouri State University and I am in dire need of music in order to spice up the senior student film. Our program is known for creating top notch films and it would be to my great privilege if you were able to contribute a song written just for this film.
This is only going to be about a 15-20 minute film, and we have an incredible idea of how we are going to pan into the credits which is where I would like a song that essentially sums up the overall tone of the film.
Maybe something like Jason Mraz, but a little more uppity.
Lyrics:
All alone to your heart’s dreaming,
Nothing seems to be your way.
Sing today of far off places,
Find the jewel that’s gleaming.
Far and wide you’ll be
Miracles in every day
A thousand blessings to scream.
Footsteps into childlike dreams
You’re a marvel to the stars
Shine on, shine on my faithful child.
Summer night suspends for you,
The feel of dirt on your face.
A shade of lemonade
Grass bends, another day goes by.
Oh, dearest friend
Never did I see where we began
The spy that echoes inside of me
A hope turned to reality
Far and wide you’ll be
Miracles in every day
A thousand blessings to plea
Footsteps into childlike dreams
You’re a marvel to the stars
Shine on, shine on my faithful, faithful child.
Spread wide across the sky.
Live and let dream.
Discover beyond the horizons.
Believe in your wildest dreams.
(A cappella)
Far and wide you’ll be
Miracles in every day
A thousand blessings to know
Footsteps into childlike dreams
You’re a marvel to the stars
Shine on, shine on my faithful child.

THE STORM-RUNNER
This is a Paid Song! Learn more…
The Storm-Runner is a sestina (poetry form involving the use of the same six end words in a defined pattern) I wrote a while ago. I think this would work well with a quiet, intense rock background or with just a guitar in the background.
If you’ve ever heard of Great Big Sea, I think that might be a good place to start…somewhere between them and Flogging Molly, maybe… I don’t think any instrumental breaks would be involved; the poetry form is pretty unified and I don’t want to ruin that.
When the air is still over the plains,
And the clouds on the horizon are black,
Advancing on the sudden, chill-blast wind,
In the calm before the first crack of thunder,
A lone man looks up, smiling, to the sky,
The Storm-Runner, they call him; a man immortal,
He stands facing the storm, knowing it is not immortal,
It will die out after its swift, violent conquest of the plains,
He calls out to his chosen god, throwing his arms to the sky,
A flash of lightning makes his form seem black,
He grins, roaring a challenge to the first rumble of thunder,
His clothes and hair fly in the sudden rush of wind,
The rain pours down, blown horizontal by the wind,
It chills him not; his soul burns with fires immortal,
He laughs as the storm drowns his voice with its thundering,
A dark leviathan lumbering across the plains,
Its brow curled in its fury, its war host shrouded in black,
As it pelts the lands of mortal men from its realm in the sky,
The storm clouds roar a challenge from the sky,
The Storm-Runner laughs his defiance to the howling wind,
The storm blots out the sun, shading the sky with black,
It means to crush this foolish immortal,
Standing fearlessly before it on the plains,
It gathers its might, roaring with furious thunder,
The Storm-Runner takes off, joining the bison as they thunder,
Away from the wonton fury in the skies,
The storm chases him across the plains,
His doom ever bellowed by the screaming wind,
The storm flings cruel, flashing lightning down at the immortal,
Hoping to char his laughing flesh coal-black,
The Storm-Runner laughs at the pursuing blackness,
Roaring down at him with ever-more furious peals of thunder,
The storm cannot kill its constant enemy, the immortal,
Though it hurls hailstones in rage from the skies,
Sending a tornado, a whirling tower of wind,
Tearing at the fertile soil of the plains,
And the Storm-Runner, immortal, champion of the plains,
Laughs at the weakening thunder, in the face of the breaking black
He looks up to the clearing sky, wet hair dancing in the gentle wind.
