RETURN OF THE LYRICS
The LYRICS TO WEAR PANTS TO page is back! It’s exactly the way it used to be, except it’s inside our new layout and all the way updated. The link can be found (other than in this post) with all the other links when you scroll right down to the bottom of the site.
Enjoy two new songs: I AM AN EDUCATED FISH - which doesn’t really have lyrics, since they were all made up on the spot - and G. Along with O, this is making me think I should do a complete set of songs for the alphabet. I’ll have to check through the big pile of unread requests and see if there’s anything letter-related in there.

BLUE
This is a Paid Song! Learn more…
In 2006, Utada Hikaru released an album called Ultra Blue.
What I want is an English version of this song. I started writing lyrics in my spare time. It’s taken me a long time as I’ve been busy with classes and am a bit of a perfectionist, but I’m thus far pleased with what I have.
Places I’m used to being, people I’m used to seeing
Recently all seem to speak of the tragedies,
Of places far across the seas
I want to feel safe again in the night,
Soft music and sleep without fright
No matter how painful the time, why do I sing? (Who knows)
I don’t want to love again, why do I keep trying? (Darling, darling, ah)
I don’t hear a thing no matter what you say or do
I am blinded without a clue
I just tried, I just tried turning BLUE
I am only human
Complimented by this color
Day and day growing number
I think I’m getting older
I remember the sadness of your frown
Those spinning lights
I want to believe once again you’ll be around
The light is bound to reach you
Even on nights so freezing, who is the one singing? (Who?)
From sheets of music thrown askew
The notes, their tune inked in BLUE
I remember the sadness of your frown
Those spinning lights
I want to believe once again you’ll be around
The light is bound to reach you
Oh, no matter how painfully my life, why do I live? (Who knows?)
I just want a normal life, fame is overexaggerated.
Darling darling, ah, questions make me BLUE.
Darling darling, ah,
Tell me something good
Or let me feel your warmth one more time,
You have no idea the mountain I’d climb
Oh, no matter how long the night, day should break right?
Just like the stories from when we were children?
And though I don’t can’t hear a thing at all,
I know this storm will soon end
And though the future is cloudy
We can always keep on hoping
Why can’t you understand this? And why do I care about it? (Who knows)
I don’t want to love again, why do I keep trying? (Darling, darling, ah)
I don’t hear a thing no matter what you say or do
I am blinded without a clue
I just tried, I just tried turning BLUE

THE STORY OF SNESLY WIPES
This is a Paid Song! Learn more…
The Story of Snesly Wipes.
I story song, melody driven with a cheerie “oooo ooooo” up beat chorus thing. (I am so good at giving notes!) The story should be about Snesly Wipes, a young man who travels the world collecting colors. Stealing them from some things and giving them to other things. He creates blue flamingos and turquoise tangerines. Snesley travels by bus and he can surf cigarette smoke. His suitcase is covered in banana stickers. He puts the colors he doesn’t use inside his cufflinks. Maybe there should be a little british in your voice for this one.
Like a Beatles song. Ukulele solo. Very Sing -alon-able. — Two to three mins.
Please come up with your own color swaps as well as mine (the blue flamingos, the burgundy clouds..) He searches for the perfect color combination - but can’t find it - (by color combination I mean switching things and their colors not putting two colors together)
Snesly’s eyes are grey.
He once dated Audrey Hepburn, but she got eaten by a dragon fly. He couldn’t save her.
When he blows his nose it creates wonderful music - which could be the chorus.

DISCOVER A NEW UNKNOWN WORLD
This is a Paid Song! Learn more…
Well at first I want to say that I think your work is pretty admiring and helpful to others.
My english isn t very good. If my choice of words or my word structure is not clear enough you can change it if necessary, but I’d prefer that it should still make sense so that the song will still maintain its actual message.
I prefer a funny song melody. The music genre should be something around Pop, but if you think something else is better, its up to you.
Here is the song:
Discover A New Unknown World
BEGINNING
In everyday life people see
that people often chat while eating
Everybody knows
and everybody keeps doing it
Have you ever tried it
in another way?
Have you ever tried
eating without chatting?
The advantages are not only
That you can eat faster
and it is not disgusting
to talk with a full mouth!
It s just a new unknown world you discover
Refrain:
Discover a new world, when you eat without chatting
Discover a new world in your sense of taste
Discover a new world in the atmosphere
Discover a new world in your consciousness
1.Strophe
If you eat in attentiveness,
You become aware
That your food is connected with lots
of work and effort
Eat and feel the loving preparation
of your nourishment
If you eat in attentiveness,
You become aware
That there are people in the world not
having the food you have
Eat and let your good fortune
dissolve on your tongue
Refrain
2.Strophe
If you eat in attentiveness
You will notice
That food can have different ways of taste
It can taste sweet, sour, bitter or salty
It has always been like this
That you never ate your food in attentiveness
And you swallowed it as some worthless lump
Try it in a different way
Pay full attention to your food
And be aware of what you just eat
Enjoy it
Refrain:
Discover a new world, when you eat without chatting
Discover a new world in your sense of taste
Discover a new world in the atmosphere
Discover a new world in your consciousness
Discover a new world
Discover a new unknown world…

MIMOSA CHRISTMAS
This is a Paid Song! Learn more…
An upbeat do-wop song, for my mom (Patricia Molina) who’s house in Acapulco is called Mimosa. I want you to make a Mimosa Do-Wop song for Christmas. She always has guests stay at the house, there’s a big Mexican christmas tree, a pool and every year there’s fireworks. My mom loves that old school do-wop style - like what you use in (Wop Wop Wop, Mo mo mo mo), please mention my Grandma “Abi” (pronounced like Abby), my sister’s name is Maia (like Maya) and me (that’s my family). It’s a tropical christmas song. Play around in it. I’m sure you’ll do something awesome.

DRIVE AWAY THE STRESS (EXTENDED VERISON)
This is a Paid Song! Learn more…
Teman really loved the song you came up with for me.
What Teman would really like is to have another verse and chorus, an instrumental break (I’m assuming guitar), then another verse and chorus.
Here are some more brainstorms for adding verses:
* we’ve gotten engaged since Christmas, and we’re planning to get married over Labor Day (on Sunday September 2) in Cleveland, Georgia, which is in the north Georgia mountains, at a place called Neverland Farms (NOT to be confused with Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch : )
* one of his favorite things about the mountains is that you can see the stars so clearly there — esp. he saw the Milky Way with his naked eye for the first time there; so you could say something about driving til the stars come out (stars are kind of the theme for our wedding as well, since that’s his favorite thing about the mountains)
* you could start one of the lines with “Genius always rides in an S2000″ or something like that, as an homage to one of his favorite songs, the chorus of which starts “genius always rides on a rollercoaster …”
Here’s the original DRIVE AWAY THE STRESS if you want to check it out too!

SURGE PROTECTOR
This is a Paid Song! Learn more…
It is for a show entitled “Surge Protector: Video Game Super Hero” which is about a guy that becomes so obsessed with video games that he starts to think he is a Video Gaming super hero.
Here is a recording of me singing what I had in mind, the microphone cuts out and I was sick, but you should get the idea.
Lyrics:
One day a lonely gamer,
who had thrown away his friends,
Then becomes a savior,
to show his enemies their end…
SURGE PROTECTOR!
Once was just a gaming zero,
SURGE PROTECTOR!
Now he is a super hero!
(in a lighter ballad like mood that moves into the original style)
His family, friends, and enemies…
Will all be brought down to their knees…
Cuz its
SURGE PROTECTOR!
Once was just a gaming zero,
SURGE PROTECTOR!
Now he is a super hero.
SURGE PROTECTOR!!

TOM (BLINGED OUT, BEATING PEOPLE UP)
This is a Paid Song! Learn more…
I’d like to give this song to my boyfriend for our 1 and half year anniversary.
His favourite music style is hip hop, in fact he says he lives a parallel life as a rap star.
I’m not sure who is alter ego is but it’s somewhere between van damme and jay-z
As far as lyrics go, he is becoming a teacher this year. He teaches french and history. He loves playing and coaching soccer. He especially loves van damme and segal movies.
we fight about which bread is better (he says soft white, I say chewy);
he says “L-Bombs” when he’s talking about love, in fact there are many metaphors he uses about ‘dropping l-bombs’, ‘heat seeking missile’
phrases he (over)uses: ‘light and fun’ when something or someone is fun / lighthearted, ‘icecreamery / fish and chippery’, light and funnery’ (note the trend for using that ending??), ‘light and funnery’, ‘look out!’ as an exclamation for something surprising or appealing, ‘chocs and chocettes’ (long story, but describes italian gym junkies and their girlfriends),
i refer to my friends as ’swingers’ and he finds that weird.
he is really embarassed about seeming like a nerd, but i love him for his dorky hobbies: painting little models (warhammer something); and playing ‘baldur’s gate’ on his computer, which he calls his ‘nerd box’. he always gets really shy about these, but i want to reassure him that i think they’re cute
my dog is alvie who has about a thousand nicknames: ratdog, stinky, scuttlebutt, tiddly-dee. she has a puffy tail and is very little and likes tennis balls and having sticks thrown for her he finds emos very funny and thinks it’s great that i “was a huge one in high school - ie had thick black glasses, a big fringe and lots of black clothes
