Your married? You should definitely do a cover of you and your wife’s “song,” if you guys have one. Nothing more romantic than that!

ANASTASIA
This is a Paid Song! Learn more…
My girlfriend, Anastasia, loves Songs To Wear Pants to. I worry about getting just the right gift for her, and I think that a song from you would do the trick.
Ana loves nerds (both book-smart and geeky) and has a crush on Robert Downey Jr.. So nerdy or geeky references are a must, and possibly some things about Iron Man or Sherlock Holmes.
at the end I would like a specific line said: “I promise you from the bottom heart, Little One, our cake will never be a lie.”
The story of how Anastasia and I met is one of true nerdiness. We met roleplaying, with her character Quinn the blue haired grifting Brit and my character Del, an old Viking with regeneration, Del hunting Quinn. I call her both Little One and Lemondrop, she calls me sunshine. She’s the talented one, with writing and a keen knowledge of advertising, leaving me in the dust with all my boring old accounting knowledge and a mind full of random facts, which she constantly inquires about just to learn new things - something she loves, learning.
Ana runs a make-up blog called Lipsticks and Lightsabers, where she adds a geek chick’s flavor to the scene while acting as a champion against frilly unicorn lovers. Ana loves proper English terms, being a Brit, and always hates the way I say things like water, or aluminum as an American.
She calls herself a cat and is tries to act as adorable every way she can from nuzzling with a meow to her yawn, which is the cutest noise I’ve ever heard.

THE FOX AND THE BUNNY
This is a Paid Song! Learn more…
A light, short happy folk-ish song for my boyfriend for Christmas.
I want it to be generally about a fox and a bunny that fall in love. I really like the song Greensleeves, as performed by Vanessa Carlton, even though thats not totally true to the original folky sound. Also, Young Folks, by Peter Bjorn and John. Bruises by Chairlift shows pretty well what Id like, without the percussion in the song.
As for the content of the song, my boyfriend is the fox, and Id be the bunny. Which could be dangerous, cuz foxes eat bunnies. :b
Id like it to say somewhere in the song “Der fuchs und der Hase werden zusammen ewig.” Which is German for the fox and the rabbit with be together eternally.

OH NO
I want to hear a song from your upcoming album really badly.
This song is taken from my forthcoming album Summer - until the CD comes out I’ll be releasing one song from it each week and finding a song request to match.

MAGNETIZED
This is a Paid Song! Learn more…
I would like the style to be kind of like “Warning”-era Green Day, maybe a sort of acoustic pop rock. I want the first verse of the song to be a capella, but only the first verse. Before the lyrics kick in, have maybe 6 or so second of finger snapping and a capella “oohs” and “ahhs”, no instruments til the 2nd verse. The only guidelines I have for it, is that it be catchy, upbeat, each verse and chorus flows from one to the next, no real pauses or guitar solos.
Here are the lyrics:
VERSE 1 (a capella)
Something’s wrong with the stars tonight
It seems as though we’ve given up without a fight
It seems like we just can’t get it right
Let’s drench our souls in the starlight
VERSE 2
We’ve got to let go of our pasts you see
I want an answer, not “i don’t know” or “maybe”
We’ll work to together from now on, you and me
Let’s drench our souls in the blue sea
CHORUS
Now I remember a time when we were happy
I remember a time when we were alike
I remember a time before things fell apart
I know we’re not perfect, but we were so magnetized
VERSE 3
Remember how we were together all the time
Nothing could tear us apart, no reason nor a rhyme
We went together so well like a lemon and a lime
Let’s love each other again, until the end of time
CHORUS
Now I remember a time when we were happy
I remember a time when we were alike
I remember a time before things fell apart
I know we’re not perfect, but we were so magnetized
CHORUS
I remember a time when we were happy
I remember a time when we were alike
I remember I’d love you even when we were apart
I know we’re not perfect….
Perfect…
But we were so magnetized
Magnetized…
