I would like to hear you do a cover of Yakety Saks that you might hear in the trailer for an action/thriller movie. Can you do it, Pants?! Can you make Yakety Saks into an epic thriller!?

You should cover a song that a) should never be covered in the first place and b) in a style that it never should be covered in.

I cut this to Justin Bieber’s original ‘Baby’ music video, but YouTube pulled it for copyright reasons. A parody is commonly considered to be fair use of copyrighted material, so I disputed their removal of the video. They seemed happy with my parody argument grounds and put it back up for three days, then suddenly removed it again and threatened to shut down my account. At this point I decided it wasn’t worth the legal fight.

UPDATE Vimeo seems more lenient about this kind of thing…

Quite a few people have asked me to cover this song from the credits of the game Portal, so I social media-fied some genre suggestions and made this.

You should definitely do a cover of Semi-Charmed Life by Third Eye Blind, but change it into like a really slow song with a lot of piano fills.
