And sometimes he just makes songs.
But anyway, suggest something?

NEW CHAPTER
It’s been a gradual transition that wasn’t always even apparent to me, but I can definitively say now that my work will be focused more on my YouTube channel than this website. (Though a redesign is on its way that will integrate the two a bit more anyway.)
Of course, all the songs here will stay up for your enjoyment – some might even be made into videos in the near future. :) I will also continue to do commissions.
Thank you all for your support and encouragement over the years. Things are getting bigger and better and I hope you’ll stay on this magic carpet ride with me forever!

LIGHTWOLF, DEFENDER OF THE TENDER TUNDRA
This is a Paid Song! Learn more…
SO. my ladyfriend’s last name is Light, and my last name is Wolfe.
All I’m saying is Light-Wolfe would be a pretty sweet last name, and/or 80′s superhero.
She is super in love with both of these songs, and would go crazy if there was a song in a similar style about Lightwolfe, a fictional 80′s era fighter of evil (darkness?! and/or something wolves eat? evil deer?), and If there is a unicorn sidekick, even better. Think cheesy, think absurd.

- Is Lightwolf a person? or an actual wolf made of light? maybe some sort of transformation is involved.
- If you want to just go all out ridiculous with it, miscellaneous elements could be: her cat’s name is Dakoda Tenderpaw and could be featured, I think I mentioned as a unicorn, but the two things could be independent of one another
- maybe Lightwolf’s power has something to do with Tenderness
- or just a general way to work tenderness the song :P
This song has now been animated by Sir Reginald!

FAMILY MUSIC TASTE SPECTACULAR
This is a Paid Song! Learn more…
Up until now I was limited in my very poor lyrical abilities to emailing friends and irritating them by putting their exploits in lyrics of cover songs. Humorous (for me) but limited in email or blog form.
So to my theme. I have a merged family of ‘Irish triplets’ (3 kids all born less than 12 months apart. Being that they are 15,15,16 they are now of the distinct impression that they know everything including musical taste. Hence my goal is to turn my corny hip hop lyrical skills
on a journey through their favorite musical genres to demonstrate it is not so different from the 80s retro stuff they make fun of.
The progression I had in mind was starting off with some sort of TV sitcom Brady Brunch, This is Life with Derek merged family music – move into Vanilla Ice/MC Hammer 80′s HipHop for lyrics about me, Disco/Hard Rock styling for spouse, Screamo/Techno for one son, Rap/Reggae for son currently living in Caribbean, Pop/Dance music (think Blue by Eifel 65) and circle back to Brady Bunch theme.
My daughter likes mash ups of 80s disco to a fast beat – the examples I hear on the radio are versions of Steve Winwoods ‘Valerie’,
Fleetwood Macs ‘Go Your Own Way’, ‘I will Survive’ – Gloria Gaynor…that could mash up mother/daughter tastes. Since my one son and I have had arguments that Billy Talent is in fact the much improved offspring of Johnny Rotten and the Sex Pistols…there’s maybe another 80s punk – screamo mash up opportunity.
Brady Bunch Theme chorus
Here’s a story of a merged family
They were playing Rock Band on their big screen tv
All of them had hair of gold, like their mothers
The biggest one in curls…..
80s old school hip hop a la Vanilla Ice Dad
Makin’
I’m bringing home the bacon
Sugar Daddy
To my extended family
If you gotta problem
I’ll solve it
Check out my skills
When my kids don’t resolve it
….Word to the Mother
80s disco a la Gloria Gaynor Mom
I will survive
I’ll stay alive
Just 3 more years
And no more tears
Cause then the kids will leave the hive
Gotta be strong
It won’t be long
Until I’m free to be
The queen bee in me
Reggae Rap Carribean style Son #1
Yo dad your rap
Is old school crap
You my blood
But I’m the stud
Got some
In my
Gotta get some sleep
This song is sweet
Dance mash up Daughter
Now this is a story
Of a girl dabba do
She had brothers two
And Daddy Mommy duo
I’m me dabba do
Who are you
Ain’t it great
Hibernate
In my room
From the noise
Of the boys
80s Punk
Parents are mean
Know what I mean ?
God Save the Queen
And King
He can’t sing
I’m the man
Xbox Band
Guitar Lord
High Score

(default ending – this is where you get to improvise and turn this into a
corny inside family joke into something witty and cool for all)
I also realize my lyrics may often rhyme but don’t flow very well – please

INTERGALACTIC KUNG FU ZOMBIES
This is a Paid Song! Learn more…
My other half an I are doing a silly (silly AWESOME) animated short series and you are the ONLY possible person who can do it justice with a theme song.
Music Concept: Cheesy Trashy & Thrashy 80′s Rock/ Metal cartoon intro theme, sounding very similar to the intro song to Transformers: The Movie by Lion – or even the Thundercats theme song
What it’s for: a spoof 80′s animated cartoon short for the web, called the “Intergalactic Kung Fu Zombies” for a run of very short episodes featuring 3 main hero characters. They’re mercenaries who make a profit from their missions, but at the same time, take on jobs where they save the galaxy and foil evil plans etc.
These are the characters (so they could have short descriptions come up during the theme song – think TMNT)
Tork – Big bulky mechanic/ engineer dude, he speaks very little but packs a big punch, will pull out the huge cannons only when he needs to.
Sheena – She’s the sorta-leader of the 3, she’s the commando/ weapons/ ballistics expert. She uses machine guns, pistols, etc.
Gash – He’s got a constant scowl on his face, he’s moody, and he’s the team’s melee/ close combat, infiltration/ espionage, & demolition/ sabotage expert. His specialties are using knives/ blades, small arms, snipers, and of course, lots of explosives.
The Ghost – What the team calls it’s main client and retainer. The Ghost is an AI computer that seems to be working reconnaisance and intervention operations, from which it assigns ‘jobs’ to the IKFZ.

MAKE YOUR MATCH THEME
This is a Paid Song! Learn more…
What I would like you to make for me is a really cheesy, catchy theme song for a game show animation that I’m in the process of making. I was thinking like a really cheesey 50′s babershop band thing (mostly just the 4 part harmony kind of aspect). The Game Show is called “Make your Match”. So the singers would only have to sing that after a really catchy riff or something.
This is a TV show set in the 50′s, so anything appropriate to that time period. I would say some guitar, drums, bass, and like, maybe a Jeopardy chimes kinda thing going on? (thinking about it probably not, but feel free to try it. Really whatever you do will be awesome.)
